How it works

Build it, code it, make it think

1.

 Build the model

Small groups build a physical model from the kit: a motor, a colour sensor and a few hundred bricks. One device per group of four.

2.

Programme it in Coding Canvas

Block coding with icons and words, moving towards text as pupils grow. A web app that runs on Chromebooks, iPads, Windows and Mac, works offline, and needs no pupil logins.

3.

 Meet AI safely

The AI & Data unit uses the device camera and simple classifiers: pupils train a model, test its accuracy and find its limits. Images are not stored and no pupil data is collected.

Covers the computing programme of study for KS1 to KS3

Algorithms, sequencing, selection and repetition, variables, data, and the
responsible use of technology all appear in the lesson plans, with "I can"
statements, a rubric for every lesson and built-in questions and timers in
the presentation.

  • Years 4–6 is the first kit shipping; the six units below are its full year.
  • Years 1–3 and 7–9 follow the same structure at their level.
