The CoDrone EDU is a programmable educational drone designed to support coding, robotics, engineering, and STEM education in schools. It enables students to develop essential computing and engineering skills through hands-on, project-based learning aligned with the UK & Irish National Curriculum for Computing and STEM Learning objectives.

Students can start with block-based coding before progressing to Python programming, building confidence in computational thinking, algorithms, sequencing, iteration, debugging, and problem-solving. The CoDrone EDU bridges the gap between coding and real-world applications by allowing learners to see their code control a physical flying robot in real time.

Equipped with a colour sensor, front range sensor, bottom range sensor, programmable LEDs, and access to multiple onboard sensors, the drone provides engaging opportunities to explore robotics, autonomous systems, physical computing, sensor technology, data collection, and engineering design. Students can create and test programs, investigate automation, and apply coding concepts to authentic STEM challenges.
